Mobile data settings
Help on setting up your phone's GPRS settings is provided below. If your country or provider is not listed below, please contact your mobile operator for assistance.
Orange
Dial 123 to speak to an operator.
Mascom
Dial 111 to speak to an operator.
Vodaphone
Dial 888 from your mobile phone, or 1688 from a landline to get assistance with setting up GPRS.
Mobinil
Call 100 if you are a Mobinil Star or Primo customer. Dial 442 if you are a prepaid ALO customer.
Zain / Airtel
Send 'SET' to 95000 to receive and activate settings for all GPRS services.
MTN
Dial '111' toll-free for assistance with setting up your phone.
tiGO
Send 'gprs manufacturer model' (E.g. 'gprs Nokia 5530') to 777. Follow the instructions sent to you by SMS.
Telkomsel

Indosat

Axis
Visit this link, enter your phone model and settings will be sent to your phone.
Safaricom
Send an empty SMS message to 4777. You will be sent a confirmation SMS with the settings which you must save. If asked for a PIN number, use '1234'.
Orange
SMS 'WAP' to 1234 and you will receive a configuration with the GPRS settings. Acticate 'Orange WAP' under your web settings.
Zain
SMS 'ALL' to 232. You can also call 232 and be directed on how to setup your phone.
Cell One
Send a blank SMS to 1253. You will be sent an SMS, reply 'Y' to this message. If prompted for a password, enter '1234'. Select 'save'. If your phone is not supported, called the Customer Care Centre at 120 for assistance on how to set up your phone manually.
MTN
Sms 'settings' to 4777
Zain
SMS 'ALL' to 232. You can also call 232 and be directed on how to setup your phone.
Globocom
Dial *121* from a prepaid number. Dial *200* from a postpaid number.
Etisalat

Vodacom
Dial *100#, select 'device setup' and follow the instructions.
MTN
Dial *123*13# from your phone and the settings will be sent to your phone.
Cell C
Dial 140 from your phone and a consultant will walk you through the setup.
MTN
Send 'MMS' to 6565. MTN will send the settings to you via SMS and you will be prompted to save these to your handset
Tigo
Dial 0713 800 800 for assistance with setting up your GPRS settings.
Vodacom
Dial 100 (Swahili) or 101 (English) for assistance with setting up your phone.
MTN
Send 'yellolive' to 188. Alternatively dial *160# on your phone, select 'MTN Services' and then 'Data settings' to setup your phone.
